South West Full Day Tour

The south west tour starts with a visit to the dormant volcano of Trou Aux Cerf to the reservoir of Mare Aux Vacoas; one of the main water reservoirs in Mauritius. We continue to Grand Bassin Lake and will move southward towards Alexandra Waterfalls where some beautiful snapshots can be taken until Chamarel where we will visit the Chamarel Seven coloured earths geographic site and visit the Chamarel Rhumerie.

  • Start your tour by stopping at Trou Aux Cerfs volcano crater to enjoy the breathtaking view of the island’s villages and mountains thanks to its high altitude.

Discover the Mare Aux Vacoas Reservoir

  • Mare Aux Vacoas reservoir is the largest reservoir on the island surrounded by a dense forest of pine trees

Visit the Grand Bassin Volcano (the sacred lake and the Hindu temple)
